The Brampton Minor Basketball Association (BMBA) is always in search of Volunteers for the upcoming season, no experience necessary just bring your enthusiasm. BMBA Volunteers have mentioned that the greatest benefit they receive from volunteering is a genuine sense of satisfaction from helping others and building with their community! Make new friends and build valuable relationships with BMBA members and fellow volunteers.

The BMBA values the time and talent of our volunteers, we offer our volunteers the following:

  • High school students can obtain their “letter of acquisition” after earning their mandatory 40-hour school volunteer requirements;

  • Ability to gain valuable work-related experience by learning new skills and discovering new interests in our league;

  • Gaining personal satisfaction by helping others and giving back to your community;

  • Keeping you busy and making new friends!

Volunteers form the foundation of any organization!  Become an integral part of the BMBA family by helping out in any of the following areas:

  • Assistant Conveners – assist the Lead Convener with related game duties.

  • Coaches – required in all divisions for Rep and House League

  • Community Outreach Programs – help develop community programs and events for Brampton Basketball.

  • All-Star Day Committee Members – help organize the event, source awards, coordinate day of logistics

  • Tournament Committee Members – help support, organize, coordinate and run our Rep Tournaments

  • Picture Day Coordinator – support, organize, and communicate picture day for all BMBA teams

  • Event Coordinators – assist with event planning and execution

  • Social Media – create online content and assist with social media strategies and campaigns

  • Video Production – create video library and highlight Brampton Basketball organizational programs.  Volunteer with the BMBA to build your portfolio.

  • Aspiring Sports Writers and Reporters – Create articles and contents on our featured players, teams, and coaches.

  • Marketing Project Coordinators – Develop and assist with Marketing Strategies for the organization.

  • Finance – aspiring to become an accountant or a career in Finance, get hands on experience volunteering with a CGA.

  • Office Administrator – update all BMBA events on the content calendar, compile critical paths and work back schedules

  • Executive Board Positions – participate in the decision making and overall strategy of the organization.  Work experience required.
