This past weekend the Major Bantom Boys #1 team played in the Mississauga Monarchs tournament in Brampton. The MBB playing in their 1st tournament of the year played strong throughout the weekend and were able to beat the Oakville Venom 71-41 in the gold medal game. Charlie Bennett lead Brampton with 13 points & Jordon Fullerton scored 12 points in the gold medal game. The coaches were pleased with the teams effort on defense throughout the weekend lead by Antonio Hanson, Julian Mitchell & Malik Sam & steady play from Jaskaran Samra, Devante Ashman & Bobby Dhaliwal.
The Championship was bitter sweet as team leader Marcel Kennedy was injured. We wish Marcel a safe and speedy recovery.
