In July 2012, Kayla Davis and Shay Colley were invited to try out for the Canadian Cadette Basketball team. They both made the team and will be representing Canada this summer at the FIBA U17 World Championship for Women in Amsterdam, Netherlands from Aug. 17 to 26th 2012.
Their games start on Friday August 17th 2012 and they start off the tournament playing against Italy.
Kayla and Shay are point guards with the Brampton Warriors Juel League under Coach Hugh Riley and Coach Jason Harris.
We are so proud of their accomplishments, representing our country and Brampton Warriors.
Kayla and Shay are examples of players that put their all on the court when they are playing basketball. They have a winning attitude! Kayla and Shay’s dedication to their sport has landed them spots on the Canada Basketball 2012 Cadette Women’s National Team.
