BMBA -2018 SUMMER
HOUSE LEAGUE REGISTRATION
Since 1979, The Brampton Minor Basketball Association (BMBA) has been dedicated to providing a basketball league for youth ages 5-18 to play and enjoy the game of basketball. BMBA is a not-for- profit organization which is run by volunteers, from the executive board, conveners, and coaches, to the table officials. The league has grown from 10 to currently 55 to 60 teams. In order to continue to grow, we need your help.\
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
COACHES/CONVENORS
BMBA is seeking dependable volunteer coaches/conveners for the 2018 Summer season which runs from April – August
The ideal candidates must be 18 years or older. No experience is necessary – just bring along your enthusiasm. Continued training is provided throughout the season. As a volunteer coach/convener, you will be responsible for players/teams (male and female) in house league divisions ages 5 to 18.
SCOREKEEPER
High school students can obtain their letter of acquisition after earning their mandatory 40-hour high school volunteer requirements. Areas that you can help out include the following: Scorekeepers to score keep weekly games, Site conveners to assist the lead convener, and All-star day committee members to help organize, co-ordinate, and run the activities. You will gain valuable work-related experience by learning new skills and discovering new interests.
